The setting though I think it's decent for a post-apocalyptic World it doesn't look very Grim, but it suits the casual and lighthearted contents of this game they are the hyenas who serve as the father enemy High cross who's the big boy saying in the sky Heirs of Ida who service their resistance aberration who are mutated zombies from the outbreak, and various local Wildlife there's a good amount of variation Harvard does feel pretty generic.

The game uses a pleasing Celsius art style very similar to genjin the post-apocalyptic setting is communicated pretty well through old ruins, and architecture damaged by the Calamity contrasted by fully sci-fi areas rebuilt by humans character designs are decent although generic sci-fi anime there's also not a lot of cohesiveness in the design it's hard to tell what factional area certain character is from they seem to be just Standalone designs which for an open world game fails to create a connection between the character, and the world normally for MMOs this isn't a huge issue since most of the time it's our player character interacting with the world however for Gadget game, and the associated simping culture people tend to feel more attached to certain characters because of the backstory, and design for comparison's sake genshin does this very well which is why you see absolutely generate Cults of people worshiping A Single Character something like this I can't really see happening in Tower fantasy, but maybe I'm wrong.

On the technical stuff Graphics quality I think for mobile standards is excellent perhaps even better than some PC anime games like Scarlet Nexus character models are well made, and the majority of NPCs have unique models something I think Kenshin can steal back from visual effects are fitting to the overall sci-fi aesthetic although some complicated ones like ice textures, and Trail effects are quite poor a reason for this could be Hardware optimization reasons because remember this game is an MMO and when 30 people are on the screen spamming effects it might start cooking phones however I would prefer PC had the option to turn High Fidelity effects on animations amongst the common complaints that people had trying this game immediately for the most part they're fine, but some areas like climbing and flinching look very jarring weapon attacks also feel stiff and lacking weight this does take away from the experience especially for an action combat game and players coming from genshin will notice this immediately and be put off by it I will agree it's pretty poorly done, and could definitely use Improvement, but might also be again for optimization it's hard to expect the same level of animations of a single player game for the MMO crowd it's usually less of a priority, and they would rather focus on more important gameplay elements World of Warcraft still looks like it's stuck in 2012 for Boomers to feel nostalgic Final Fantasy looks like ass without mods and animation they are also quite basic while visuals are important to a game it's equally important to understand the genre and the limitations that come with it I think it mainly comes down tolerance how much it annoys you to the point it overtakes the area that you do enjoy you know some people could take 15 inches, and some can only take four both of them are still enjoying it, but one can tolerate a bit more suffering than the other.

Design is a vital part of any game it has both entertainment and practical uses like enemy sound cues no experience is complete without good sound design, and I think in the tower of fantasy game pc download this is the weakest part of the game the volume is terribly normalized some effects are screeching loud while some had to close my eyes and listen to the point where I thought it was just straight up missing combat sound effects can be summarized into a collection of bushes and clanks melee honestly sounds like rubbing two Coke cans together and severely lacks impact I think this hurts the experience way more than some janky animations after all us humans use sound to perceive our s
urroundings enemy missing important sound cues or giant size sounding like a sheet of aluminum makes the game feel cheap and incomplete.
second, that's just that jackpot I've seen future characters' gameplay, and it does get a bit better, but not by much I've also seen videos reviews on the internet saying it's more realistic and better like this, but dude we're on a different planet with sci-fi A swords glow, but they sound like sticks of metal there is a place for realism, but it's definitely not suitable for the stylistic choice of this game this is the one area that I want to see Improvement in over everything else I can live with the Jenkins bugs, but a good sound design that matches the aesthetic goes a long way.

Initially I thought the combat system was too simple, but after experimenting with a couple loadouts I did find a bit of depth you can equip three weapons to switch between any given time each weapon has a full set of ground, and aerial attacks a weapon skill and a discharge skill which fills up by attacking enemies or triggering the time's solability you can also use these Relic for movement damage or utility adding a layer of customization although metal wise I can see it being reduced down to a couple viable ones controls are basic after all it's technically a mobile game made for thumbs 90 of the time you will be mashing the attack button which can get repetitive over time the depth comes from properly, managing your weapon charge to form a loose rotation of looping discharge spam it's easy to pick up and offers a decent amount of Engagement for an action game however with the exception of enemy Shields weapon shorts pretty much comes down to preference, and the Damage potential I'll cover more of this in the Mana section enemy move sets are so pretty most of them are basic swings and slams some have AOE indicators that you have to dodge, and then you have the multi-hit with minimal wind and believing you just watching your character get pinball crowd control attacks that can happen off-screen stunning or facing you in place it's especially disruptive as many of the weapons in this game have long attack strings with the final hit dealing the most damage something yomi players and genshin can relate to the way to counter this is by using characters that have super armor and just face tanking it using iframes of certain abilities or you cheese it with range to have a more consistent time personally I've switched my main onfield weapon to Shiro because their n2c attack is fast with low commitment so I can dodge whenever I want speaking of dodging it's also on a cooldown with three charges in mobbing content like bygones with three to four Tanki mobs all spamming attacks at you it gets obnoxious pretty quick I think a way to improve this to make it more consistent is to first get rid of the stereo lock on multi-hidden attacks keep the dash cooldown, but refill a bar for each time you actually iframe something this would reward players who time the Dodge as well, and punish the who pan expands it overall the combat in this game is fairly decent however with the obnoxious enemy attacks in poor Auto targeting holds it back from being a fully enjoyable experience.

This is where I ripped the game apart and explain the long-term concerns I have with this game currently the game in CN has a major power creep issue if you take a look at the current scene meta literally none of the meta units are standard characters that we have now aside from one two characters that came out and by General agreement broke the game there are a couple reasons why I think this happened first of all because of how the combat system works the game dug itself in this hole since the very beginning unlike genshin weapons in this game have very loose roles, and because the way these weapons are designed to handle any content like mobbing and bossing to sell someone a new character and give them a reason to replace their current ones would be the simply power creep it for example when sakifua came out on CN she basically completely invalidated marble offering better damage better shatter, and better chart a Powerhouse character that does basically everything now getting one copy of her should be easy even for free to plays if they save accordingly and from my understanding one copy of her is enough to clear content now why is this a problem going back to the common consensus about the gacha system being generous the bigger question is where is the bar set what are the requirements to clear end game content comfortably is it zero Stars One Star all the way up to six stars is a 6 star standard character that you slowly built going to be the zero star limited SSR from what I've heard Global is a rebalanced to address some of these issues broken characters are brought down, and the world difficulty was also scaled back accordingly will it be enough only time will tell Will Lin still be an SSS tier must pull character on global or will she be scaled down to become an optional Choice over other characters we don't know, but the fact that they are at least putting in the effort into not repeating their mistakes on CN is a good sign is this game paid to win then abso lutely gachas by Nature are paid to win in any aspect that you can play a real money to either accelerate your progress or purchase things that are otherwise unobtainable for free is pay to win however it also depends on what you're winning at in genshin because the game is made for babies you could beat the entire game 3D play with functional fingers and a couple brain cells leading to Common sentences such as blood well I'm afraid of playing a 36 star Abyss catching I'm I'm casual and free to play, and the only characters do enjoy the game just play at your own place I'm free to play by the way and you know what they're right as obnoxious as they sound you can do that because there's nobody else to compete with you don't beat anyone by spending five thousand dollars you have no impact on other people's experience the same mindset however can't be applied to tower of fantasy for pc the game has competitive elements both PVE, and PVP PVE has a player ladder system, and vigon, and in popular MMO culture things like world's first, and raids are also competitive aspects now for this game with a more casual audience it probably wouldn't be a theme parsing is also a core element in MMOs, and this game even has a built-in parser that marks the best performing player as the MVP does it give you additional rewards no, but nobody wants to see themselves miles behind their teammates looking like dead weight of leeching even if you tell yourself oh they paid more money of course they are ahead I'm doing the best I can it's still not a good feeling us humans are competitive by Nature we are born biologically to be egocentric and self-serving animals we cooperate out of necessity, and in-game if someone decides to be an and shame you for doing less damage that might have a bigger impact on you than you would think we want to be on top be the best at something, and this game certainly facilitates that.

Anyone who has played Asian MMOs or paid attention to Eastern games would have heard of the company Perfect World they are a Chinese multimedia giant that publishes a ton of games and film for mostly local audiences they also publish valve's two major Esports CS go and Dota 2 for the Chinese region perfect world is not a good company to say they are sus is an understatement they are known for copy from the Fate anime the other one was ripping off this stingray-like creature from the survival game Arc did they really up three times was it incompetence or intent you be the judge just remember that this is a giant company with a ton of money and power how about another example Dota 2 Shanghai major 2016 a 3 million dollar prize pool for one of the world's biggest Esports perfect what was in charge of on-site production, and this is what happened first it suffered a two-hour delay with the opening ceremony canceled matches were delayed and they kicked everyone out early streams were glitching with constant disconnects Chinese production staff were sleeping on the job food, and water not provided to casters and players VIP room more like interrogation group casters casting with no table rampant theft the player belongings and a bunch more mismanagement couple weeks later the president of perfect world came out with a public apology and uh that was it, so as you can see perfect world definitely has a shady past Tara fantasy might be developed by hotter Studios they could be a passionate group of developers trying to make the best game they can, but their parent company reputation is concerning now the global version is published by level infinite the global branch of 10 cent games everyone knows tencent they own Riot games and has a bunch of stake in other companies tencent also has an equally Shady pass with yet again plagiarism allegations massive pay to win in their published games and other Shameless Behavior now you have these two giant Shady multimedia corporations handling a game that you're about to put months or years of your time into it's hard not to feel skeptical about its future whether you choose to continue playing or not I would at least be cautious if you spell maybe it's time to back out the last thing I want to address is the genshing comparisons after it's hard not to see similarities in both art style and gameplay polish is a word people love throwing around without understanding what it takes to achieve said polish yes where can i download tower of fantasy pc is janky I don't think you can deny that, but there are reasons and certain expectations you should have When approaching this game first of all both the development costs, and Studio are clearly smaller than however's by all means they are an indie game studio just backed by a larger publisher and given the things I've mentioned about perfect world earlier I highly doubt they are pouring tons of money into making tarot fantasy as good as individual artists and is shoved into the game, and that's probably exactly what happened I'd imagine the amount of content whole universe has scrapped under pursuit of creating this immersive and believable world would be enough to make another can you get tower of fantasy on pc creative processes only get better with time through iteration and because time is money, and the game's industry is notorious for crunch this is why we end up with, so many half-paid games Studio rushing to create content with little iteration if it's functional and good enough ship it hold your verse is trying to make a statement in the industry with Genji a massive game full of soul in life in the cohesive world, and the success in the past two years really show meanwhile Taro fantasy kind of just exists it doesn't mean it's a bad game developing an MMO is not easy just a networking part alone takes ton of developing costs that's also why you don't see many MMOs coming out these days going into Tower of fantasy torrent expect to play ganshin MMO is going to only end up in disappointment, so where did I see this game in a couple years usually when a game gets localized to a different region it's one of three things:
- The game is doing very well and they decide to explain globally to grow the game
- The game is dying in the local market, so a cheap way to break in some extra cash before shutting down the servers is to translate it and publish it.
- The game is not doing too well in the local market, so they decide to go Global to see if they can find another demographic.
- The game is dead and the servers are ghost towns queuing for Content takes 30 minutes and the only players left at the whales who spent twenty thousand dollars and refuse to quit.
- The game has an active fan base, but small servers are merged to put everyone together and it's enough to find people for any content these players are dedicated enough to keep playing and the game continues like that without ever growing many content drops are still regularly scheduled with minimal improvement.
- Global turns out to be a success and debris funnels the money into developing future content Hotel Studio grows in size and Tower fantasy ends up being the major MMORPG on mobile.
